About Dot Net Webs Limited

Hello, my name is Gavin Hewins, director of Dot Net Webs Limited

I have been programming computers since the early 1980's. I bought my first IBM compatible PC in 1986. In 1994 I used the Internet for the first time. Having got hooked on the Internet, I first hand coded some HTML in 1995 and have since gone on to learn many Internet programming techniques including DHTML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, SQL, ASP, ASP.NET, VB, C#, Flash and others to numerous to mention.

I have recently launched Dot Net Webs with my brother Simon Hewins. Our aim is to concentrate on websites based on the Microsoft .NET platform. This allows us to build highly customisable web APPLICATIONS for small businesses and organisations.

I highlighted the word applications in the previous paragraph because I believe that the latest phase of Internet growth will involve small business using the type of application currently being enjoyed by larger organisations.
